Fee Schedule
Individual therapy
Cost
Standard 50 minute individual therapy sessions are $235.00. Payments are required at the time of each session and can be done through the secure software management system or via credit card, or EFT.
Rebates
With a referral from your doctor under a Mental Health Treatment plan, you can access 10 rebated sessions per year. The medicare rebate as of 1st July 2024 for a 50 minute session is $141.85. This leaves an out-of-pocket expense of $93.15. Medicare rebates are processed at the time of payment and sent to your designated account.
Some private health funds offer rebates. Conditions and rebate amounts vary depending on your health fund and level of cover. Individuals cannot access a rebate for Medicare and private health for the same session.
Other Third Party Funding
Sessions can be funded by NDIS if this is listed in your individual package. You can pay for your sessions and be reimbursed by NDIS directly, or the provider can be billed directly.
You may be referred by another third party such as WorkCover, TAC, Victims of Crime, or another organisation or government scheme. Each will have its own fee schedule and application process. If you have not received approval for third party funding, you are not able to back-date sessions that you have attended prior to gaining your approved referral.
Assessments
Cost
I offer assessment packages with a total fee that includes everything involved in the process from beginning to end. You may be sent some screening tools before you attend your assessment interview. Following that, I will send you away with online assessments to complete and you will need to nominate someone who knows you well to complete an observer questionnaire. Then, I analyse your results and write a comprehensive report. Finally, you attend a feedback appointment where I go through your report and diagnoses and help you interpret all that useful and exciting data.
ADHD only assessment package: $2000
ADHD and Autism assessment package: $2500
Rebates
Unfortunately, reports do not qualify for Medicare rebates. You may be covered under your private health care fund. If you are under 25 years of age, you may be eligible for assessment funding under the Complex Neurodevelopmental Conditions initiative (through Medicare). Eligible individuals need a referral from a paediatrician or psychiatrist.
Clinical Supervision
Cost
I supervise psychologists who are seeking assistance to learn or improve their skills relating to ADHD assessments, interpretation, and post-diagnosis support and strategies. I also offer supervision to provisional and early-career psychologists. The fee for clinical supervision is charged at the usual hourly rate of $235.
